SCENE 1
|
Tingo and Niki are cleaning the entire basement. Both their rooms are spotless, as is the kitchen. The living room's the only part left and they start by moving Tingo's trunk, which is quite heavy. Niki pushes while Tingo pulls, but it won't budge.

|
This time, they switch who pushes and pulls, but still can't move the trunk.

Now, they both try pushing and pulling together, but it won't move. Niki wonders why the trunk's so heavy, when Tingo realizes it's because his elephant, Dinky, is inside.

Niki can't decide what dress to buy - the pink or purple. Salespeople representing each color (Shauna Hicks and Tom Plotkin) musically plug their respective product. When Niki can't deal with their feud any longer, she walks out with a black outfit instead; the clerks faint.
