Mopatop opens the episode by offering a shiny green wellie or a penguin called Nellie.
A sad bug comes into the store. Puppyduck and Mopatop check the "things that cheer up bugs" department to see if they can find something to get the bug into a better mood.
Another customer, Pickey Mickey, comes into the store looking for something nice and icky, such as a mud pie. He suggests that the bug can roll around in the mud pie, but that doesn't cheer up the bug. Puppyduck feels sorry for the bug and gives him a hug, and the bug starts to laugh. Apparently, a hug was what he needed to cheer up.
