	SCENE 1	Oscar has perfected his latest invention - the electric spoon. He uses Bob as a guinea pig and instructs him to try and eat a bowl of gravy. Oscar flips the switch and the spoon shakes wildly, causing Bob to spill the gravy all over himself. Oscar considers the invention a bust, however, when he learns Bob was still able to get a little bit of it in his mouth.

Since Linda is the only one around, she volunteers to watch the store for him. She easily is able to help Big Bird, Susan and a child through the use of simple gestures and signing.

She notices he hasn't eaten and offers to make something for him too. Mr. Hooper is amused at the role reversal and asks Bob if Linda would ever consider giving up the acting life for a job in his shop.
