SCENE 4 | Since he was the first one to wake up this morning, Big Bird makes sure he's the last one to go to sleep. He bids good night to Mr. Hooper, Olivia and David and after the lights in Ernie and Bert's apartment turn off, he heads off to his nest still thinking he's the last one awake... until he notices the lights in Gordon and Susan's apartment are still on. As soon as they turn off, Big Bird attempts to go to sleep when he remembers that he was supposed to announce the sponsors, and asks the viewer to do so since he's too tired. Just as he begins instructing the viewer what to say, he falls asleep and the sponsors silently appear on the screen for the viewer to read. | |
