SCENE 3 Big Bird prepares a "Welcome Sun" sign and finds a good place to sit and wait, believing he can stay up all night long (he's part owl, after all). The grown-ups assure him that he'll fall asleep before the sun rises. Big Bird tells them he'll prove them wrong and bids them all a goodnight, but soon starts to fall asleep himself.
Muppets The Count's Bats are upset because the Count always gets to count, but the bats don't. The Count decides to let the bats count all of the Counts, while the Count counts all the bats...but there is only one Count.

SCENE 4 Big Bird's alarm wakes him up and he preps his "Welcome Sun" routine, but doesn't see the sun at all. He gets upset, when the sun starts to rise after all. He greets it with a song ("Good Morning, Mister Sun"). Maria comes outside to check on him and Big Bird wonders what he'll do with the rest of his day, but falls back asleep within moments.
