SCENE 1 | Oscar can't stand the cheery greeting Bob gives the viewer. He delivers his own, grouchy message to welcome them: "Goodbye! It's not good to see you, and I'm not glad you're here!" Bob is appalled, but Oscar claims it's a very special message he'd only deliver to someone he considers extra special. Bob finds this nice, then realizes he's never received such a message from Oscar. |

He tells Bob that the picnic ants left without causing any disturbance, then the sprinklers went off, thus drying out their food and forcing them to cancel the mud slide race. Bob tries consoling Oscar by pointing out how much fun they had, even for a brief time. Oscar rants over the encouraging words, as he's just spoiled the worst mood he's been in for ages. Big Bird announces the sponsors as Bob and Oscar continue to argue. |
