SCENE 1 Big Bird introduces Mr. Snuffleupagus, who is about to do something really great. Offscreen Snuffy isn't too sure he can perform as he's never done what he's about to do. After some coercing from Big Bird (reminding him of how well he learned to ice skate), Snuffy crosses the frame riding a Snuffleupagus-sized skateboard, ending with a big crash.

SCENE 2 Maria overhears Oscar the Grouch and Biff talking inside Oscar's trash can. They're having trouble opening something, and Biff concludes that blasting seems to be the only option. Maria witnesses the two making a big explosion from within the can, followed by a bigger explosion. A third explosion ends up being the biggest one, powerful enough to cause the lid of the can to fly into the air. The Grouch and construction worker emerge from the can to address Maria's concern: they've finally got Oscar's ketchup bottle open! Oscar is appreciative and asks Biff to help open the mustard now - he's been missing it on his cereal.
