SCENE 1 Oscar heckles Gordon and Susan's plans to make a garden on the street. When they challenge his knowledge of plants, he shows off a plant he's growing - a crabapple tree, though it droopy from having been in his fridge the entire time. They tell him to give it proper sunshine and advise him eating one of its fruits will make him sick (which is exactly what he wants).
