SCENE 2 Olivia and Susan come across a sign outside Big Bird's nest, reading "WET PAINT Keep Out!" From inside, Big Bird tells them he's painting his yard and doesn't want anyone to step in the paint. He's covered most of the ground with orange paint and literally paints himself into a corner of the area, now having ran out of paint. He goes to Hooper's Store to get some more (stepping through the paint).
SCENE 2 cont'd Big Bird reaches the store and has a hard time describing to Mr. Hooper the color paint he needs. He spots something of the same color - a mysterious trail of bird-like footprints running out the store back to Big Bird's nest.

Next, he confirms that a man has built a birdhouse because of his wood, paint, and carpenter's tools. When he notices Beautiful Day Monster with a suitcase and an umbrella, Kermit assumes that the monster is going on a trip. The monster corrects him; he's planning to eat his umbrella, and uses the suitcase to carry the ketchup he'll use to eat it with.
