SCENE 1 Bob, Maria, Olivia and Mr. Hooper wait for Linda and her friends from the Little Theatre of the Deaf to arrive back from a trip to Andy's (Linda's father) farm. As they head toward the bus stop, they witness Alphabet Bates making a letter "U" overhead (First: Episode 0036).
SCENE 1 cont'd Linda and the crew (including Andy) arrive and Bob greets them while reacting to the skywriting: "U...you!"
Cartoon "Poverty U" -- A figure gives a salute to the letter U, and presents the letter with a bouquet of flowers.

SCENE 4 Maria is surprised to hear how much work is done on a farm. Andy mentions that now there's more machinery and the performers act out those machines which consist of a tractor and a hay baler. They wish they had an apple picking machine, and demonstrate how it would work.
Muppets Kermit demonstrates his "What Happens Next" machine, which is designed to turn on his radio. None of the parts of the machine work properly.

CLOSING SIGNS Ernie and a kid hold the Sesame Street sign, while Oscar holds the CTW sign.
