SCENE 1 | David anxiously waits at the bus stop for his Grandma Grace who is visiting today. When the bus finally arrives, Mr. Macintosh steps out and tells him he hasn't seen her; he was the only passenger. David wonders what could've happened to her when he hears her voice coming from Oscar's trash can and sure enough finds her inside! David helps her out as Grace explains she caught an earlier bus and knew David would be sleeping, but Oscar was awake and the two had breakfast together (she planned ahead and brought her own food). She tells Oscar she had a terrible time, knowing how to treat an old Grouch like him. |
