SCENE 2 At the day care center, Luis, Buffy and the kids put a body together by glueing pieces to a large sheet of paper.
Muppets Cookie Monster asks Ernie if he has any cookies. Ernie says that he doesn't have any cookies but an apple and he can't give the apple to him because "an apple a day will keep the doctor away." Later Cookie Monster comes disguised as Doctor Monster and gives Ernie a medical checkup. After the checkup, Ernie asks what he owes Doctor Monster. By sheer coincidence, his bill is one apple.

SCENE 3 The day has turned gloomy, which Oscar greatly enjoys. He decides to leave his trash can lid open to fully enjoy the atmosphere. Luis comes by and shuts it, thinking it will be better in case it rains. Oscar sticks an "OPEN" sign on the can to make sure people don't close it, but Maria happens by and closes it again. To ensure everyone gets the message, he writes an additional Spanish sign. Buffy and Sheldon come by and make sure he wants the can open. He soon regrets this as they lead the kids in singing "Thank You for Bein' My Friend."
