SCENE 3 Bob and Linda are ready to bike to the beach, only they don't know where it is. Bob is able to speak enough Spanish to ask some local, biking children which way it is. A kid gives them complicated directions in Spanish. When they see the tourists don't understand, they gesture them to follow on their bikes.
Cartoon A picture of a girl playing a guitar is drawn as off-screen kids (speaking English and Spanish) try to guess what the drawing will be.

He slowly ponders what happened to his best friend, coming to the conclusion that maybe some Martians took him away in their spaceship. As it turns out, Bert just got up early to fix some oatmeal. Ernie is relieved... until a real spaceship lands and the Martians enter the room.

Olivia stops at Petra's fruit stand and is able to recite the grocery list in Spanish, though Petra reveals that they can speak English as well.

SCENE 7 Big Bird hears a peculiar chirp-like sound coming from all over the place. He tries finding the source, believing it's coming from a fellow feathered friend. He grabs some birdseed to lure the creature out, having no luck. He eventually finds himself back Marguarita's yard, where Maria explains the sound is coming from a coquí, a type of frog native to Puerto Rico. The kids catch one and show Big Bird, who remarks, "Wait'll I tell Kermit the Frog about this!"

Ernie says that he can't play -- his ball fell in the ocean.

  • The rest of the week uses a special new opening sequence set to a Latin tune (mixed with the "Sesame Street Theme") over clips from the previous episode. One clip used is an alternate take from Oscar and Osvaldo's first meeting.
