SCENE 1 | In Hooper's Store, David has discovered some broken eggshells sitting on the counter. He wonders who could've left them behind, when Sherlock Hemlock arrives to solve the mystery. David finds more clues - a used bus ticket, a photo of himself as a child, and a hat with feathers in it. While Sherlock believes this is the doing of a traveling circus chicken (going so far as to assume David's mother was a chicken), David realizes that all the clues point to his grandmother Grace is here to visit. The two share a hug in the front window, while Sherlock ponders what happened to the chicken. | |
