Big Bird is grateful and invites Mumford to stay and meet Mr. Snuffleupagus, but Mumford passes since he, like the other grown-ups, believes that Snuffy is just Big Bird's imaginary friend. Moments later Snuffy arrives and Big Bird tells him about Mumford; Snuffy finds the idea of a real-life magician ridiculous and compliments Big Bird's great imagination. |
