SCENE 1 Ringmaster Big Bird presents his acts to a crowd of Olivia, Mr. Hooper and Luis. Daredevils Frankie, James and David walk across the tightrope without using a net (though he urges the crowd to imagine it's actually up in the air). Barkley the Wonder Dog is next, but he doesn't seem to get the idea. Big Bird rallies the kids on the other side of the rope and call him over, thus making it look like he's crossing the rope.

SCENE 2 Poco Loco shows off the different sounds he can imitate, including the bell Luis has just installed to alert him when customers enter. Luis runs in and out from the back as Poco imitates the noise. Big Bird actually enters, so when Luis hears the bell, he yells that he's not coming out for the "silly bird." Big Bird takes his remark personally, when Luis tries to explain himself. He asks Poco to repeat the bell noise, but Poco pretends ignorance.

SCENE 3 Oscar hears a strange noise from inside his trash can. Maria and Mr. Hooper help him out by going inside the can to find the source of the noise. They stumble around in the can, crashing into everything. They come out unsuccessful, but tattered and soiled. As it turns out, the noise is coming from Oscar's creaky bed, which his pet hippo Seymour is on top of.
Muppets Ernie & Bert — While Bert is reading, Ernie tries to scare him by dressing up as a ghost. When Ernie notices that Bert left his chair while he fetched a white sheet, Ernie sits down in the chair and relaxes, until Bert enters the room and startles him.
Film A boy visits the hospital to see his mother's new baby.

Kermit the Frog talks to people waiting in line for a game being held at the SuperGame Stadium. A woman explains why she is last in line, and points out that Kermit is actually last, although Kermit insists that he is not in line. He goes to the front of the line and finds out that the first two people in the line are in a disagreement over which of them is first in line. The gate opens, and everyone walks all over Kermit.

SCENE 4 Telly and his friend Max enter Hooper's Store, both requesting jacks. There's only one set left and Telly assumes he and Max will have to argue over who will get it and hurt each other. Mr. Hooper settles the possible problem by having the two monsters guess the number he's written (4). Telly guesses correctly and gets the jacks, then offers to play with them with Max. Once Telly realizes they don't know whose house to play at, he goes back into his worrying spiral.

SCENE 5 Telly and Max still can't decide where to play jacks. Telly realizes they do what Mr. Hooper just taught them and has Luis help them out. Telly writes the mystery number (4 again) and has Max and Luis guess. Luis guesses correctly, meaning they'll play jacks at his apartment. Telly asks for the keys as Mr. Hooper announces the sponsors.

CLOSING SIGNS Ernie and a kid hold up the Sesame Street sign, while Oscar holds up the CTW sign at the end.
