SCENE 2 | Big Bird and the kids jump rope in the yard when they hear thunder. They go into Hooper's Store to play, but Mr. Hooper tells them they're blocking the way for potential customers. They then crowd in front of the door and hallway that leads to Bob's apartment, but Maria points out they'll be in the way of people who need to get inside. They finally move into the Fix-It Shop, where Luis also tells them it's no place for jump roping. Big Bird can't think of anywhere else they can go to play when it rains, and Luis recalls that when he was a kid they made a clubhouse to play in. Big Bird finds this to be a good idea, but isn't sure how to make one. | |
