SCENE 1 Big Bird wonders where Mr. Snuffleupagus is, claiming he usually visits around this time of the day. He gets an idea to visit Snuffy's place instead and packs some things he might need. Maria and David, finding the whole thing silly, unfold a giant sheet of paper that gives directions to Snuffle Cavern.

SCENE 5 Big Bird enjoys the idea of spending the night in a cave and sings "Staying Overnight with a Friend" with Snuffy. As they head off to bed, Big Bird thinks there's been a mix-up - his small teddy bear is with a large pillow, while Snuffy's large bear is with a small pillow. Snuffy states that the pillows are correct - the small one is just for him to rest his snuffle on. They think they can stay up all night just talking, but fall asleep as they debate whether to discuss caves or cabbages.
