As David and Maria make their way out to the yard to carry it the rest of the way to the trash pick-up, Big Bird confronts them angrily. He says he's not lumpy, as described, and if they don't like yellow, he'll paint himself orange or purple. Maria explains she was talking about her old sofa, that she loves Big Bird, and continues to complain about the furniture. Understanding now, Big Bird scolds Maria over talking about her sofa that way; she may hurt its feelings. | |
