SCENE 1 Susan stops by Oscar's trash can to see Buffy and Cody. She yells into the can, but is met with a sign popping up from inside reading "NO." This happens more and more, frustrating Susan further. Oscar finally emerges to point out that Buffy and Cody aren't home; they're in the yard.

Big Bird decides now is the time they should meet and sees Buffy about to go back inside Oscar's can. He rushes back to fetch Snuffy, when Buffy submerges into the can to help Oscar with his herd of elephants. Big Bird and Snuffy come outside, with no sight of Buffy.

SCENE 4 Big Bird mopes about his Buffy/Snuffy situation to Buffy. She admits that even though she's never seen him, she believes he's real, as does Cody. She sings "I Believe in Snuffleupagus," then stays to put Cody down for a nap, while Big Bird returns to his. Big Bird tries telling Snuffy about her, but he instead sings about how he believes in the "Buffle-upagus," turning into a distant duet between himself and Buffy. The song puts Big Bird to sleep, so Snuffy decides to head home. He sees Cody out on the stoop and wonders who the mysterious woman is that's with him.
Muppets OPEN the Door: Part 1: Harvey Kneeslapper hangs an "OPEN" sign on a closet and has filled it with so many toys that when somebody opens it, all of the toys in the closet will fall on that person. A girl opens the closet, but none of the toys fall out. When Harvey opens it after she leaves, they fall all over him.
