	SCENE 1	A mason, Mr. Jenkins (Ted Ross), does some work surrounding the front doors of 123 Sesame Street. A sawhorse barricade blocks the area, marked with a "DANGER" sign. Telly reads the sign and learns about the construction from David and Gordon. Oscar happens to be in the middle of the work and it's recommended he move his can temporarily. Oscar refuses to move, but drops his attitude when he's promised he can go "anywhere at all." He asks everyone to leave while he prepares to move.

	SCENE 2	David relaxes in his apartment on his day off from work. Just as he starts reading his book, the doorbell rings. David opens the door and finds Bruno, Oscar and Telly standing outside. Oscar has decided that the "anywhere at all" he'd like to stay is David's place. David relents and allows Oscar to stay overnight. Bruno settles Oscar down and Oscar begins clanging around in his can, then provides David with some of his rotten groceries to put in the fridge.

	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Ernie eats one of the two pieces of chocolate cake that Bert was saving for their dessert. Bert sees Ernie holding a fork in one hand and a napkin with some chocolate on it in the other--and in front of him is a plate full of chocolate-cake crumbs. When Bert accuses Ernie of eating the cake, Ernie tells Bert that a monster came in, ate Bert's cake, and framed Ernie. Bert doesn't believe Ernie's lie. But when Bert leaves the room, Beautiful Day Monster comes in and does exactly what Ernie told Bert happened to the first piece. Ernie tries to explain, but Bert says, "I don't want to talk about it." (First: Episode 0119)

	SCENE 3	David and Oscar sit down to dinner. Oscar assumes David will find his Grouch meal (Potato skins stuffed with sauerkraut and spinach and a limburger milkshake) repulsive, but David instead points out the nutritional value of the different ingredients. Oscar asks for his napkin to be tied around his eyes instead of around his neck. "You may not mind lookin' at my dinner, but I can't stand lookin' at yours," he says.

Instead, it's Mr. Jenkins, who lets David know that the job is taking longer than anticipated and Oscar can't go back yet. Oscar has prepared for this and has already invited the other two members of his Grouch String Trio over to practice. The Grouches arrive immediately after and start their noisy rehearsal, to David's dismay. Telly announces the sponsors.
