SCENE 2 Olivia has the numbers 1 through 8 attached to a large board. She tries to count them, but the 8 keeps falling off. A Muppet monster enters and (in grumbly, monster talk) tells her she's been putting it on upside-down. Olivia decides to give it a try and puts it on the opposite way, which actually works. After she counts them all again, she congratulates the monster, when all the numbers but 8 fall off.

They want to take him to the vet's office, but find it hard because Barkley sees to growl at anyone getting too close. Big Bird has a heart-to-heart with him, putting Barkley at ease. He, Maria and Barkley start their trip.

SCENE 7 Big Bird has finally gotten Barkley to sleep with the help of his teddy bear. As he and his friends play some jump rope, Barkley is seen resting in the nest. Olivia announces the sponsors.
