Big Bird tries his best to be brave, knowing the room is the same as it was in the light, and he finds explanations for the various, somewhat-eerie sounds he hears like the furnace or the water pipes. He almost gets worried when he hears a creaky sound, but realizes it's just the basement stairs when he steps on them. Gordon returns to fiddle with the fuse box, while Big Bird repeatedly tells him not to be afraid of the dark. | |
