SCENE 1 Akim looks after Hooper's Store while her uncle David steps out for a minute. Bob orders a large meal and Big Bird wants to assist. They scramble about trying to figure out which things do to and resolve to split up the work. As they discuss how to divide the work, Bob makes the meal on his own. Big Bird is impressed and makes some lunch orders for Bob to make now.

SCENE 2 David shows Nikki the new menu system he's worked out for the store - the menu now has pictures of the different things being served and customers can circle the items they want. Oscar appears and notes that the system is fine, but the selections aren't fit for a Grouch. He's prepared his own menu with rotten selections, which people can order by putting a big X over them. David gets nauseous reading it and puts a giant X over the entire menu.

As he darts off to the supermarket for more, Akim finds two mustard jars he didn't notice. She considers making an inventory of all the items they have, which the Count eagerly assists in doing (since it involves counting). As they start their list, the Count finds a jar of roasted peanuts and, to ensure an accurate inventory, begins counting each, individual nut.
Cartoon An alien comes across a pair of tree trunks; one with multi-colored leaves, the other without. He finds and grows leaves to mount on the other tree, then strings a hammock between the two.

The Count asks David to write that down as he heads home to get some rest as well.
