Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 Telly has been instructed by Oscar, as a part of his Grouchketeer duty, to learn the word printed on his sign - "NO." Telly doesn't know what the word means and becomes frustrated by Maria, Olivia and Bob's responses (thinking they're telling him "No" in response to his question). When Oscar asks if he's learned the word yet, Telly sadly admits, "No." Oscar gives him his approval, leaving Telly befuddled.

SCENE 2 Mr. Snuffleupagus stops by Big Bird's nest and informs him he can only hang around for a short while before he meets his mommy at the library. Big Bird thinks this is enough time to finally introduce him to his friends and rushes out to the block. The adults are instead occupied in watching the Amazing Mumford perform a new trick. Mumford claims he could make Snuffy appear, just as long as Big Bird paints a vivid description of him. He first conjures up Barkley, then a large teddy bear. When Mumford learns that Snuffy is imaginary, he says he can't do his trick ("I'm an amazing magician, but there is a limit.").
