| [[Mr. Snuffleupagus]] stops by [[Big Bird]]'s nest and informs him he can only hang around for a short while before he meets his mommy at the library. Big Bird thinks this is enough time to finally introduce him to his friends and rushes out to the block. The adults are instead occupied in watching [[the Amazing Mumford]] perform a new trick. Mumford claims he could make Snuffy appear, just as long as Big Bird paints a vivid description of him. He first conjures up [[Barkley]], then a large teddy bear. Eventually, Snuffy starts to leave and passes by the whole crowd, unseen yet again. When Mumford learns that Snuffy is imaginary, he says he can't do his trick ("I'm an amazing magician, but there is a limit.").
