SCENE 1 Forgetful Jones strolls out on the street at the crack of dawn, carrying a paper bag. He can't remember what to call this time of day and listens to the various sounds around him to deduce that it's morning. Only now, he can't remember what he got up bright and early to do.

SCENE 2 Forgetful still doesn't remember what he was going to do, so Gordon helps him figure out the clues. Inside the bag they find pieces of a broken lamp and he's heading towards the Fix-It Shop. Oscar thinks he's bringing it to the dump, which is in the same direction (and hopes he can get it instead). Gordon convinces Forgetful that he's bringing the lamp the Fix-It Shop to be repaired. After Forgetful leaves, Clementine comes by looking for him. She reveals the lamp was indeed intended to go to the dump, having been up in the attic for ages. She goes after Forgetful, wondering where he could've gotten such an idea from. Oscar is annoyed with Gordon's "assistance," to which Gordon responds, "Nobody's perfect."
