SCENE 1 | Telly tries to abide by Oscar's request to be left alone, but lets Oscar know he's around if he wants anything. Oscar tells Telly he wants him to stay at least three feet away from the can, but Telly doesn't know how to determine that. He further bothers Oscar to ask about this, then to use his measuring tape. Once he's in place, he believes he's moved and lost the spot. He bothers Oscar further asking for some chalk to mark the spot, as well as the tape to remeasure. Telly positions himself on the mark, but finds it boring and again bothers Oscar to ask for a magazine. | |

Big Bird proposes even more extreme things that good happen, but Gordon shoots those down. He finds that after talking with Big Bird, he feels much more confident about the recital and invites Big Bird to join. Big Bird now starts to worry, having never been to one before.
