SCENE 1 Maria goes for a walk and invites Telly Monster to join her. He sees the clouds overhead and thinks rain might occur. He darts off to prepare for it.
Cartoon A girl shows how good she is at drawing buildings.

Muppets Ernie & Bert β€” Ernie is planning to go to the library, when he hears on the radio that it might rain. So he gets out his umbrella, and puts on his raincoat, rain hat, and galoshes. Then, in case it floods, he takes a bag of groceries and a life preserver. Finally, he makes Bert go to the library with him, so he won't be stranded in the flood without him.

SCENE 2 Telly returns wearing a rain parka and carrying umbrella. Maria is certain the clouds won't bring rain. Telly agrees...they could bring snow!

SCENE 3 Maria gets impatient as Telly comes back, now with a muffler and earmuffs (with some snow gear for Maria as well). He also brings a first-aid kit in case one of them trips and scrapes their knee. Maria asserts today is a nice, sunny day, prompting Telly to run off again.

SCENE 4 Telly comes in, now with a sun visor and a basket full of various items (such as sunblock and lemonade). Maria points out that Telly will have a hard time walking while wearing all the ridiculous clothing and carrying all those items. Telly has an answer for this problem too and runs off once more.

Cartoon A young man carrying a brown paper bag walks up to the bridgekeeper and asks him if he works there. He orders him to show him whatever circles are in the bag, and to eat them. He is ordered to eat three round foods: a cookie, a pepperoni pizza, and a slice of watermelon. Once he is granted permission to cross the bridge, however, he tells the bridgekeeper that he was merely trying to deliver the latter's groceries.

Instead, Mr. Hooper is inside minding the store while Luis runs an errand. Mr. Hooper doesn't speak Spanish, but fortunately Poco Loco does.
