Picture Segment Description
SCENE 1 Big Bird wonders where Mr. Snuffleupagus is, claiming he usually visits around this time of the day. He gets an idea to visit Snuffy's place instead and packs some things he might need. Maria and David, finding the whole thing silly, unfold a giant sheet of paper that gives directions to Snuffle Cavern.

Muppets Ernie & Bert — On a rainy day, Ernie watches TV, when Bert suggests he do something else, like write a story. Thus, Ernie sets everything out on the table, including pencils, paper, a pencil sharpener, and a wastebasket (which somehow ended up on Bert's head). Ernie is now ready to write a story, but instead, he leaves everything set out for when he gets an idea.

SCENE 3 Big Bird and Snuffy play in his room ("It's only forty feet long, but it's cosy," says Snuffy). He lists off the other toys his has and mentions how he sometimes plays with his echo. He demonstrate for Big Bird, who gets to try it too. They count to 10 as their echo repeats each number. A female voice is then heard after Big Bird speaks, making him think the echo is responding to them. It's actually Mommy Snuffleupagus, calling the boys for dinner.

As they head off to bed, Big Bird thinks there's been a mix-up - his small teddy bear is with a large pillow, while Snuffy's large bear is with a small pillow. Snuffy states that the pillows are correct - the small one is just for him to rest his snuffle on. They think they can stay up all night just talking, but fall asleep as they debate whether to discuss caves or cabbages.
