Sure enough, the inventor comes by and tells them he's created a new vegetable - the potato. However, his description doesn't match what a potato usually looks like, leading Dr. Price to believe his invention is new after all, just given an old name. A rabbit hops over and starts sniffing the concealed item. Dr. Price unveils his new vegetable (a carrot) and the rabbit immediately snatches it and hops away. | |

Luis feels his way around the block and correctly identifies the Hooper's Store newsstand, then comes across a sleeping Mr. Snuffleupagus. Big Bird tries to tell him what he's feeling, but Luis assumes it's Barkley by the shaggy fur. As he continues roaming around, Snuffy stirs and heads off to meet his mommy at the movies. Further up the block, Luis feels what is actually Barkley sleeping by the stoop. He takes off the blindfold and sees no Snuffleupagus around as Big Bird explains, but he's unable to explain the furry thing he encountered first. | |
