SCENE 1 At today's Grouchketeer meeting, guest Linda teaches everyone the sign for "worm." After the kids follow suit and Oscar asks the viewer to do the same, Slimey appears and makes the sign with his body across Linda's hand. Oscar is very excited about showing off such a wonderful word, especially since Slimey is the only worm who is able to do the sign using himself. ("Ah, who says we don't have some fun here?")

Muppets Kermit at Home: Grover is outside in the snow, freezing. He keeps knocking on Kermit's door, asking how to get warm, and Kermit keeps telling him to come inside. Grover, missing the point, tries ideas of his own to get warm, but they don't work. Finally, Kermit tells Grover that if he wants to get warm, he should come inside. Excited, Grover pulls Kermit aside and slams the door, locking Kermit outside. Grover goes to sleep in Kermit's armchair while the frozen frog scrapes at the window.

Insert Barkley sleeps in the Fix-It Shop. Maria and Bob wonder what he could be dreaming about. In Barkley's dream sequence (underscored by Wagner), he sleeps in a field, when he hears some kids calling for him to play frisbee with them. One of the kids throws it high up into the air, and in slow motion, Barkley chases it and catches it in mid-air. He feels so happy as the kids play with him in the grass. Bob and Maria wake up Barkley, assuring him that he was only having a dream. Barkley sighs at the loss of a nice dream.

The Woodsman shows up to save the day and runs off with the Wolf, repulsed by Little Red's treats.
