	SCENE 1	Dr. Nobel Price shows Olivia his latest invention - the thousand-and-one, named such because it has 1,001 uses. He demonstrates several of them (using it as a paperweight, boosting a seat, and so on), when Olivia points out his item is really a book. She tries to show how it's properly used, but is unable to even open it, which is by Dr. Price's design. Olivia tells him "I think you've finally invented something that hasn't already been invented... books you can't read."

Everyone gets really close to listen to Big Bird as he recites them a story - a take on Sleeping Beauty with "Prince Aloysius" and "Princess Snuffleupagus."

	SCENE 4	Maria spots an empty box by Oscar's trash can. She asks him if she can take it to store some tools in, but Oscar isn't through with it yet - he has to read it. He claims he and his fellow Grouches love to read trash, and he reads the various printings on the box before moving on to read a soup can. Oscar then proceeds to read the label of an old sweater; Maria recognizes it as hers which she had to throw out after it shrunk in the wash, only now noticing the "Do Not Machine Wash" tag, which upsets her. Olivia drops by to spot them both reading trash and tries to pull away a disappointed Maria for some hot chocolate at Hooper's Store. Snuffy reads the sponsors.
	CLOSING SIGNS	Grover holds the Sesame Street sign, while the Count holds the CTW sign at the end.
