Telly comes by for his appointed duty and notices the items (a gong, bat and bugle). Telly realizes each of these could wake up everyone around, so he resolves to simply call Oscar on the phone. Oscar, having watched the whole thing, calls out to him in anger, as Gordon asks him to keep down the noise.

David comes out to find Dr. Price has removed the legs of the table to prove it can work just as well as it would with legs. David points out the one flaw in his theory - people now have to bend over to reach the items. He orders Dr. Price to restore the area as a comfortable eating place.
