SCENE 3 Gordon comes back, now with a letter P to make the word HOP. Barkley takes the letter P. Everyone follows him to the stoop of 123 Sesame Street, where they see the other letters he's stolen. Gordon, despite believing that dogs can't spell, discovers the letters he's taken all form the word PAT. Everyone begins patting the dog.
Film An I-beam is molded at a steel factory as heavy industrial-type music underscores the action. The segment ends on a video freeze of the finished beam, which is shaped like the letter "I."

SCENE 5 Olivia comes across Telly in the midst of another one of his worrying problems. He explains that he's going to Big Bird's nest for a playdate, but he's been told he'll meet Mr. Snuffleupagus and he doesn't feel he can imagine him properly. When he goes inside, he doesn't see Snuffleupagus, but Big Bird tells him that he hasn't arrived yet. Telly tries to imagine what he looks like, when Snuffy (wearing a straw hat and bandana) appears before his very eyes. He runs out to tell Olivia about his encounter and how well his imagination works.

SCENE 6 Telly rejoins Big Bird and Snuffy, who is planning on becoming a farmer. He has all his tools and has planted boxes of uncooked spaghetti in a pot, intending to grow a spaghetti tree. Telly points out such things don't exist, but since neither do Snuffleupaguses, it's a moot point. Big Bird also confirms spaghetti trees aren't real, but inspires him to grow cabbages instead. Big Bird goes to get some cabbage seeds from Hooper's Store, and Snuffy asks him to get some corned beef seeds as well.
