Picture Segment Description
SCENE 1 Big Bird’s toe hurts because he’s stubbed it on a tricycle. He tells Olivia about this as she passes by, and she absently replies “That’s good!” He also tells Gordon when he jogs by, and Gordon responds “Terrific!” Big Bird observes that they didn’t listen to him, and doesn’t think Linda will listen to him because she’s deaf, but she understands him because he gestures towards his foot. She rubs his toe, and Gordon and Olivia soon come to his aid afterward.
Animation A girl skips home through the city, hearing all kinds of noises. When she gets home, she repeats all the noises she heard with a little dance.

Cartoon A baby bird falls from a tree. A boy puts him back, and in return, the mother bird saves the boy from embarrassment.

Cast Susan, Luis, Gordon and Maria are competing on a potato bag race. Maria's bag is full of vegetables, which she gives to the others. They hop off to make them into meals, leaving Maria as the only racer.

Muppets Kermit at Home: While Kermit is at home typing his autobiography, salesmonster Telly comes to his doorstep and asks if Kermit wants to buy a head warmer. Telly keeps worrying he's not doing a good job, and that Kermit won't want one. But Kermit reassures him that since he does have a head, he will have a use for a head warmer, unlike the things Grover sells (toothbrushes, earmuffs, and nose warmers). When Kermit puts the head warmer on, it covers his entire head. Telly remarks, "Kermit! It's -- it's you!"

Muppets Cookie Monster asks Ernie if he has any cookies. Ernie says that he doesn't have any cookies but an apple and he can't give the apple to him because "an apple a day will keep the doctor away." Later Cookie Monster comes disguised as Doctor Monster and gives Ernie a medical checkup. After the checkup, Ernie asks what he owes Doctor Monster. By sheer coincidence, his bill is one apple.

SCENE 2 Gordon gives Big Bird some birdseed, then notices the “telephone” sign by his nest. Big Bird says he’s using an imaginary pay phone, and shows Gordon how he does it. He pretends to call Olivia and asks to speak to Susan. Olivia comes to the window and informs Gordon that Susan has a call waiting. Gordon is baffled at first, but Big Bird and Olivia wink at each other.
