SCENE 1 Big Bird’s toe hurts because he’s stubbed it on a tricycle. He tells Olivia about this as she passes by, and she absently replies “That’s good!” He also tells Gordon when he jogs by, and Gordon responds “Terrific!” Big Bird observes that they didn’t listen to him, and doesn’t think Linda will listen to him because she’s deaf, but she understands him because he gestures towards his foot. She rubs his toe, and Gordon and Olivia soon come to his aid afterward.
