Picture Segment Description
1920a
SCENE 1 Bob, Susan, and Gordon come outside at the crack of dawn, tracing the loud sound of an alarm clock to Oscar's trash can, where Telly Monster is waiting. He explains he's done this because of the story Sleeping Beauty, where the kingdom was put to sleep for 100 years. He took Oscar's advice and woke them all up to make sure nobody on Sesame Street had fallen under such a spell. The grown-ups are annoyed at first, but Gordon makes lemonade of the situation by turing things around on Oscar. He claims this is a positive development, as it has made everyone right on time to greet the viewer.
