	SCENE 1	David makes fun of Big Bird for making a phone call to his "imaginary" friend Mr. Snuffleupagus who's sick today and can't go to the Yankees game. In turn, when David reads a letter from his friend Bill, Big Bird says he's never seen him before and suggests that David made him up.

	SCENE 2	Bob and Olivia try to think of a gift to get for David's friend who's coming to visit. Big Bird still insists he's made up and supposes he might like bird seed in case David's imaginary friend is a bird. David agrees that bird seed would be appropriate since he has a pet parrot. Big Bird's impressed at the idea of an imaginary friend with an imaginary pet. Big Bird would like to wait until he sees him for himself before committing to get him a gift.

	SCENE 3	Telly Monster asks David about his imaginary friend he heard about from Big Bird. David gets defensive saying he's not imaginary, and asks him if there's anything he wants. Telly would like some ice cream, but he can't decide on which flavor to get. After going through the last four flavors available, he finally decides he wants a sandwich instead.
	Film	A variety of cat-shaped objects walk in front of the screen. (First: Episode 1802)

	SCENE 5	Over the phone, Big Bird tells Snuffy that he's been teasing David about his imaginary friend today. After the call, Davd walks in and asks Big Bird if he's been telling everyone he has an imaginary friend. To prove he's real, David describes his features. They all match the description of a typical human. Big Bird is disappointed in him: he thought David had a better imagination than that.
	Film	Two boys working at the family Mexican restaurant show how they prepare for the day, and how tacos and enchiladas are made. (First: Episode 1890)
	Cast	Olivia sings a disco song about the "Don't Walk" sign with Susan and Maria as backup. (First: Episode 1422)
	Muppets	Old West: Clementine breaks the bad news to everyone: Bad Bart is coming to town to "give someone what they deserve"! She says he will come when the cow moos four times. They listen for it, and first hear a train toot four times, then a dog bark four times, and finally the cow. Bad Bart steps into the saloon, looks for the bartender, and reminds him that last week, he ordered sarsaparilla, but the bartender didn't have it, so he went to another town to get it, and kept him waiting. Bad Bart forgot to pay the bartender for it, so he gives the bartender what he deserves: some coins.
	Cartoon	Various sounds are demonstrated, including an alarm clock, a baby crying, a telephone, a faucet dripping, and a boy sneezing. Artist: Irra Verbitsky (First: Episode 1483)
	SCENE 6	David receives a call from Bill's wife who says Bill has fallen ill and won't be able to make it to Sesame Street. Big Bird finds it convenient that David's friend he hasn't met won't be able to show up in person after all. David realizes that it doesn't feel nice for someone to not believe you when they say something is true, so he's going to hang around to meet Snuffy. Another call comes in and David speaks on the phone before passing it over to Big Bird. It's Snuffy, and he's sick again, and won't be able to make it. David tells Big Bird he hopes his friend gets better. Olivia announces the sponsors and the credits follow.
