She does promise to hear Telly out once she gets inside and puts her things down. However, just as she does so, a friend of hers calls on the phone. Telly accuses Susan of breaking her promises and thinks she doesn't care. Susan apologizes, not intending to break their promise, and is forgiven. Telly tells her the cool thing he saw earlier - a tow truck hauling away her Volkswagen Beetle (which Gordon had promised to move). |
