Cookie offers an almond cookie, a raisin cookie, a pistachio nut cookie, and a crunchy granola cookie. He realizes that the little bug doesn't like cookies. All he has left is a letter Z. The bug is excited, and buzzes off with the Z.

SCENE 4 Telly waits for Susan to come home so he can tell her someone exciting he saw today. Susan wearily comes home with laundry and groceries, not in the mood. She does promise to hear Telly out once she gets inside and puts her things down. However, just as she does so, a friend of hers calls on the phone. Telly accuses Susan of breaking her promises and thinks she doesn't care. Susan apologizes, not intending to break their promise, and is forgiven. Telly tells her the cool thing he saw earlier - a tow truck hauling away her Volkswagen Beetle (which Gordon had promised to move).
