SCENE 1 | Crystal approaches the outside window of Hooper's Store where she takes issue with David addressing her as "litle girl". David says it's just a figure of speech and attempts to take her order, but Crystal is struggling with her backpack. David suggests she put it down, but Crystal is offended that David thinks she can't handle a heavy backpack; in fact, she's probably stronger than him. David claims not to be interested in how little or strong she is, he just thought it would make placing her order easier. She does, and David attempts to move it aside, but the weight of it drops him to the floor. Checking to see if he's okay (Crystal has been carrying the bag with ease), she says he can still take her order ieven if he's not very strong. | |
