SCENE 1 Oscar holds a Grouchketeers meeting, teaching them some Grouchy words, such as "rotten," "yucky," and "terrible." Buster the Horse appears and teaches him another word - "abominable," which he passes onto the kids. Maria is pleased he's learned a new word and gives him a kiss of congratulations, making him furious.

SCENE 2 Seth has a riddle for Big Bird: "What do you call a glass full of stuff you get from a cow that's good and healthy to drink and a bunch of ducks?... Milk and quackers!" Big Bird enjoys the riddle so much that he tries to spring it on Maria, Bob and Luis, but he learns that Seth already told it to them. Big Bird asks Elmo (Richard Hunt) if Seth told him the riddle, which he denies. When Big Bird tells it, Elmo correctly answers and clarifies that he had told the riddle to Seth.

SCENE 3 Bob brings his blender to the Fix-It Shop, describing to Luis how it broke by imitating the sounds it made (first going "brrrrrrr," and then "rrriketta rrriketta click click click clank clonk"). The two have a laugh about the silly noises, and Luis assures Bob that he'll do his best to fix it. Oscar enters the shop with his blender and describes his problem in the exact same fashion, though reversing the sounds to infer he wants it broken. Luis comments, "I love the fix-it business."

SCENE 4 Dr. Nobel Price is trying to catch a butterfly to study. He refreshes his memory on what they look like, not noticing that an actual butterfly is fluttering behind him. Dr. Price uses a net to catch what he thinks is a butterfly, but turns out to be a candy wrapper. He also mistakes some leaves and a ribbon in Maria's hair as butterflies. Dr. Price then takes notice of a kid carrying two bananas, declaring to Maria that all this hunting has made him hungry.

SCENE 5 As Dr. Price goes back to butterfly hunting, Big Bird introduces the Snufflepuppet Show, starring Mr. Snuffleupagus's snufflepuppet Gus who appears from behind the doors to Big Bird's nest. Big Bird and Gus begin reciting the alphabet, but Snuffy warns that he's about to sneeze from having the puppet on his snuffle. They rush through the alphabet and finish just as Snuffy sneezes, causing Gus to fly off his snuffle and up into the sky. Big Bird goes to see where Gus lands.

SCENE 5 cont'd Big Bird notices Dr. Price inspecting the falling object with his binoculars, believing it to be a strange specimen of butterfly. As Gus hurdles towards them, Big Bird has Dr. Price hold out his net to catch it. Dr. Price is discouraged when he realizes he didn't catch a butterfly, but Big Bird reassures him that he'll catch one someday. As they talk, neither of them see the butterfly fluttering around them. Maria announces the sponsors.
