SCENE 1 Luis wakes up and adjusts to having his arm in a cast. After getting a phone call from Gordon checking in on him, he has struggles with brushing his teeth, eating breakfast and getting dressed. Although he manages to do things on his own, he asks a young child to help tie his shoes.

Insert Buster and Fred, dressed as cows, approach Olivia, asking if she knows where Gladys the Cow is. They're helping with a song of hers and the lack of local cows forces them to play some. Gladys arrives and Olivia questions Gladys' loyalty to her species, due to the fact that she's always pretending to be other animals. Gladys is surprised and tells her she is proud, which is the subject of her song. The animals set up by some boxes and Gladys performs "I'm Proud to Be a Cow." Afterward, Olivia is speechless.

SCENE 4 Big Bird sees how much attention and gifts Luis is receiving. He bandages up his beak and alerts others that he's broken it. Gordon gives him a talk, knowing he's faking and gently tells him why it's not a good idea. Maria announces the sponsors.


  • This is the first episode to utilize the funding credits on a dark blue-background (instead of light-blue from the beginning of season 16), with the text centered instead of left-aligned. This would continue up until the end of season 22.
