SCENE 1 Luis reminds the viewer of his broken arm, which prevents him from doing simple tasks like combing his hair and buttoning his shirt. He tries asking Susan to help, but she rushes off to work before he can ask. He tries again with Maria, who is too overwhelmed with Fix-It Shop tasks to allow him a word in edgewise. Oscar uncharacteristically agrees to some help, but he doesn't want to help Luis - he wants Luis to help him get dressed and brushed (citing Luis' look as perfect).

However, Forgetful reveal that while he knows how to type, he's forgotten how to spell, forcing Luis to spell every word of the story he's writing.

Luis doesn't want to leave yet, since Fluffy and Cynthia are thanking him for tangling their yo-yos with a mud ballet performance (hence the shop being closed). Maria and Bob, curious as they hear the noises, peek in and receive a face full of mud.
