He wishes to make himself known, but can't fit through the door. He instead pokes his snuffle over the doors and blows on Bob and Olivia to get their attention. The two instead think the other is responsible and start to argue. Big Bird witnesses Snuffy's involvement, but they don't believe him as usual. Snuffy goes home, sensing he's caused them anger. |

SCENE 3 | While Olivia and Bob tell Maria about what happened earlier, Uncle Wally uses bags of cabbages covered in a large sheet to simulate a sleeping Mrs. Snortleoutagus lying next to Big Bird's nest. When he leaves, Snuffy comes by with Tatyana and catches a whiff of the cabbages. The two work together to move the sacks out of the way to ensure nobody gets hurt in some manner. |

SCENE 3 cont'd | Elsewhere, Wally tells the others about Mrs. Snortleoutagus and they humor him by agreeing to meet her. Snuffy and Tatyana have moved all the sacks, which makes Snuffy very sleepy. He rests in the same place the sacks were and Tatyana covers him completely with the same blanket. When everyone comes in, Wally still claims it's Mrs. Snortleoutagus and refuses to let anyone look under the blanket, lest they wake her up. Once all the adults leave, Big Bird sees Snuffy's foot stick out from under the blanket and realizes he's been here the whole time. He rushes out to get everyone back in. |

SCENE 4 | Tatyana manages to wake Snuffy up, who comes to realize that whoever put the cabbages in his place must had done it for a reason. The two put everything back and Snuffy heads off once more. Big Bird finally gets everyone back in for the unveiling of Snuffy, but instead finds the bags of cabbages. Uncle Wally begins spinning a reason as to why all the cabbages are there - both the Snuffleupagus and the Snortleoutagus love them, so they're going to dine on them later. None of the adults buy this story, but Big Bird thinks it makes sense. |
