Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 Luis introduces the viewer to his friend Carlos (Alexander Beugos), who is visiting all the way from Cuba. He wants to learn some English, so he's here on Sesame Street to learn. However, the first individuals they meet are Barkley and a Honker, who don't communicate in English. They then run into Forgetful Jones, whose poor memory makes an introduction very confusing.

Grover will get on top of a platform, and Mumford will pull the pillar off from underneath, and the platform will not fall. After putting the clues together, Luis gathers that Forgetful is going to teach him some English using a book. Instead, Forgetful wants to teach Carlos how to be a cowboy, which gives him a lesson in "Cowboy English."
