SCENE 1 Big Bird is exercising in the arbor when he tells the audience, "Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be real strong, like Wonder Woman or Herry Monster." He then imagines himself as Superbird with a deep superhero voice and wearing a cape, gloves, and chest emblem. He carries a pile of bricks to Olivia, karate-chops some boards for her shelves, and opens a peanut butter jar for David. Back in reality, a kid asks Big Bird for his help opening a jar. Big Bird is surprised to think he can help, but he removes the lid with ease. "Maybe I'm not Superbird, but I'm a lot stronger than I thought I was!"

Muppets Ernie & Bert β€” Ernie and Bert are watching TV, but Bert gets bored and decides to play a record. Ernie tells him to turn down the volume, but Bert won't, so Ernie drowns out Bert's music by playing the radio. Bert then retaliates by turning on the blender. With all four things running at once, they blow a fuse, causing a total blackout in their apartment. Bert goes outside to fix the fuse box, while Ernie turns off all the things that were running. When the lights come back on, they decide to play cards instead of fight.

However, Lefty can't remember the plan very well and has to repeat it, which results in a police officer named Stan hearing the plan and giving him "ten days in the can for stealing the Golden AN."

SCENE 3 Mario walks down Sesame Street thinking of all the things he could be when he grows up. He points out Maria at the Fix-It Shop, David at Hooper's Store, and Olivia in the arbor taking pictures. He spots some kids playing hopscotch and remembers it's fun playing as a kid too.

Film Future careers: footage of a kid acting out a certain job, followed by an adult doing "the real thing." Includes a girl singing the "Sesame Street Theme" and another watching a sketch with Cookie Monster and Kermit the Frog.

Cookie Monster points β€œThe Cookie Counter” rod to the box of cookies, which rings five times representing the amount of cookies inside the box. Ernie is impressed by Cookie Monster’s device and talks about the benefits the device provides to the audience, simultaneously Cookie Monster eats Ernie’s box of cookies. Ernie tests the Cookie Counter by pointing the rod at the box of cookies, the box doesn’t ring. Cookie Monster asks Ernie to face the Cookie Counter rod to his stomach; it rings five times as proof of the location of the five cookies.

SCENE 4 Piri returns to the Fix-It Shop to see if Maria needs anything else delivered. Miss Trump arrives to pick up her radio and asks to play it to make sure it works. A station playing breakdance music comes on and Piri starts dancing. Maria and Miss Trump say they both wish they could dance like that, so Piri offers them lessons. Maria is too buy fixing toasters, but Piri shows Miss Trump a few moves. After she gets the hang of it, she calls out to Maria, "Let's boogie!"

Animation Teeny Little Super Guy finds his friend Jane giving up on learning to ride the egg beater. He tells her that it takes time and practice to learn things, and gives Jane some training beaters to help her keep her balance.
