Muppets Grover the Salesman: When Grover comes to Kermit's home dressed in salesman attire, Kermit quickly tells Grover that he doesn't want whatever it is that Grover is selling, since Grover always tries to sell him things that he has no use for. However, Grover tells Kermit that he has come to give him something: a hairpiece. Once it is on Kermit's head, Kermit decides that it doesn't look very good. Grover agrees, and offers to sell him a comb, a hair brush, some shampoo, and hair tonic.

SCENE 1 While reading "How to Be a Great Detective," Telly learns about employing disguises. He dons a dark beard and attempts to listen in on Olivia and Maria's conversation about the weather, but he's instantly recognized.
SCENE 1 cont'd Telly thinks he can fool Gordon, but he also recognizes him, pointing out he's the only guy on the block with that hair, eyes and fur. Telly realizes the beard isn't enough and goes to get more disguises.
Cartoon "Angry Annie": A small girl vents her rage at the world, frustrated by the problems of everyday life, until her younger brother offers her part of his orange.

Muppets Ernie & Bert — At night, Ernie can't sleep because he's thirsty. Bert is out of town visiting his brother, so Ernie calls Bert on the phone to tell Bert he's thirsty. He follows Bert's advice to get a glass of water, but calls Bert again to thank him, and say he can't sleep. Bert suggests that he count sheep ... except Ernie doesn't hang up the phone.

SCENE 2 Telly has added a wig, tie and pipe to his disguise, sure no one will know it's him. The Kids pick up on it the second they see him, despite him insisting he's Inspector O'Reilly. Maria finds him sad and he explains his situation. Maria then approaches the other adults and convinces them to pretend to be fooled by Telly's next disguise.

Celebrity Grundgetta has fixed a makeshift NASA sign to Oscar's trash can and she's attempting a countdown, but she's just shouting random numbers. Sally Ride approaches and asks if she needs any help. Grundgetta annoyedly asks if the woman is an expert or something. Ride begins to answer when Grundgetta concedes that maybe she can help if she knows how to count backwards from ten. As Ride provides the countdown, the trash can smokes and rumbles, and takes off into the air. When it plummets to the ground, Ride hurries over to the crash site to see if Grundgetta is okay. She's more than okay, she's terrific, and so was Ride's counting. Grundgetta concludes that she must be an expert after all.
