The two were supposed to have lunch together, but Telly doesn't see how this can work if Gordon is sleeping. After Susan brings over the tray of lunch, Telly's stomach growls, and he considers taking a little nibble on one of the carrots to quiet his tummy... |

SCENE 4 | Big Bird shows Maria his list of "M" jokes; the list itself is a series of M-word foods, but Big Bird has a joke to go with each one of them. He looks at Maria's shopping list and doesn't find any of her entries very funny at all. Gordon announces the sponsors, and the credits roll. |
Notes[]
- This is the first episode since season 11 to use scrolling credits. (Seasons 12 through 16 used static credits.)
- The original script for scene 4 also had Maria pointing Big Bird toward another listing, which is the closing sponsor announcement. Big Bird doesn't find this funny either, but Maria responds, "I know, but it had to be said."
