Gladys is dismayed, fearing people won't know when she's arriving without the sound of her bell. Luis offers some alternatives - a doorbell, a hand bell and a large bell. She resolves to act as her own bell, repeating, "Clank, clank - cow coming!"
	SCENE 2 cont'd	Gladys shuffles past Olivia, who follows Gladys in an effort to find out what's going on.

He signals for some bells from his pets, including Garfield the rhino's sleigh bells and Fluffy's door bell. They then hear the distinct sound of a cowbell in the can, coming from Oscar's cow Esme. Oscar permits them to borrow the whole cow and starts wrangling her.

Cookie offers an almond cookie, a raisin cookie, a pistachio nut cookie, and a crunchy granola cookie. He realizes that the little bug doesn't like cookies. All he has left is a letter Z.
