The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss
Air Date April 27, 1998
Written by Mo Rocca
Director Emily Squires, Kathryn Mullen
Catsarthouse

Everyone in the Cat's Playhouse is making art, but Terrence McBird doesn't think he'd be very good at it, so The Cat in the Hat, the Little Cats and Pam-I-Am help him create a masterpiece. In the Wubbulous World, Princess Tizz and Milo make a mural that tells a wonderful story, and Sarah Hall-Small makes a collage for her mother's birthday.

Detail of Matthew Katroom's bucket of worms in 2025. They are carved from soft mattress foam with thread tied around them to make their bodies look segmented. Several have eyes made from black ball head pins and tufts of ostrich feathers added to make them look slightly creepy (or cute, depending on your point of view). Inner armature wires allow them to be posed. Several of the less-detailed worms are removable from the group, while others (attached to a foam base) are rigged to fishing line adhered to a wooden handle that allows them to move. The metal bucket itself is spray-painted and hollowed out, with the bottom removed.[1]
